Who we are and what this covers

Jaison Norton operates the Midnight Select prelaunch website. This notice covers website visitors and alpha-update signups. The application will have a separate privacy policy before testing begins.

Information you provide

We collect your email address and optional first name when you request updates. We record the signup source, consent time, and version of the consent notice. Existing waitlist records may contain an email, name, signup source, and submission time.

How we use information

We use signup information to manage interest in the alpha, send updates you request, and invite eligible testers. We do not sell website signup information. Joining does not automatically qualify you for testing.

Service providers

The website uses Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure, including a database for signup records. MailerLite is our email provider for confirmation messages, updates, unsubscribe preferences, and delivery suppression. Proton Mail provides our general-contact mailbox, hello@midnightselect.app, and newsletter-reply mailbox, update@midnightselect.app. These providers process information needed to operate their services and may process it outside your country.

Security and technical information

Hosting providers may process IP addresses and request information for delivery and security. Our signup protection uses short-lived keyed hashes of your IP address and email to limit abuse; it does not store raw IP addresses in the signup database. Expired rate-limit records are removed when subsequent signups are processed.

Analytics and cookies

This website does not add advertising trackers or optional website analytics. Hosting access controls may use essential cookies. Email delivery, bounce, and unsubscribe information is used to operate the mailing list. Optional email open and click tracking should remain disabled unless we update this notice and the relevant choices.

Your choices

Confirm your email to receive newsletter updates. You can unsubscribe using the link in each marketing email. To request access, correction, or deletion of your signup information, contact hello@midnightselect.app. Unsubscribing stops marketing messages; minimal suppression information may remain to honor that choice.

Retention

We retain signup information while it is needed for the prelaunch program, requested updates, or consent and suppression records. You can ask us to delete information that is no longer needed. We review records as the program changes. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
